Halti was founded in 1976 and today we are Finland’s leading outdoor brand creating athlete-tested products for world’s top athletes in various Nordic and Alpine winter sports, adventure racers, explorers to busy urbanites spending a few hours outdoors. Through our partnerships with the Finnish Ski Association, the International Ski Federation and numerous top athletes, our products are worn and tested and developed with the world’s leading athletes and outdoor professionals.
Over the past 40 years our apparel and gear has been used in some of the most starkly beautiful and unforgiving places on earth. The ever-changing Nordic conditions give us the experience and depth of knowledge we need to create apparel, shoes and hardware for any season and any landscape, from lowlands to woods to mountains. We simply exist to help everyone find their own way to enjoy outdoor activities.
At Halti, the environment is at the core of everything we do. Through our sustainability program “Think Ahead”, we are committed to our social, economic and environmental health of the communities in which we live and do business. Our goal is to be carbon neutral in our own operations in 2022.
We are Bluesign® system partner, all our factories are Amfori BSCI audited and we are increasing the use of sustainable materials and material dyeing methods i.e. Halti did win the prestigious Sustainability Award in the SOA Competition, among 75 well-known Nordic outdoor brands, with its 100% recyclable Halti REISSU DrymaxX® monomaterial 3-layer jacket from the Spring/Summer 2022 Collection.
We are inspired by nature, from the simple use of raw materials to the colors and patterns that we experience in our natural surroundings. Our cultural values of simplicity and balance are an essential part of our desire to create harmony in function, ease of use and durability that culminates in timeless design.
In addition, our talented in-house designers, who know the customers from occasional nature lovers to top athletes, constantly monitor, identify and integrate emerging style and color trends to design new products and refresh successful lines. State-of-the-art 3D software helps us also to significantly reduce the amount of textile waste, emissions from logistics and packaging.
